Sweet & Sour Aspects of Life

As the culmination of a drama workshop which I have been attending in church, we put up 4 short skits on Saturday. It was a magical night where friends and family were invited to watch how we transform from amateurs to erm…still amateurs, but much-improved versions! =)

But what was most touching were the friendships that were forged from strangers to churchmates to friends. It has been an amazing journey, and one that has barely began…=)

Nancy, our drama instructor, gave each of us a card at the end of the performance, and it was so moving because she personalised each and every single card. Here’s what she wrote for mine:

“You have an amazing gift of being able to see things in dimensions, of which others cannot.

You carry much depth within you and it is one of the attributes required of a good actor.

You have displayed great acting skills and you are such a joy to watch.”

Such nice words…thanks Nancy for all you have taught us, and you can be sure we will be trudging up to your place to have more movie marathons! Let’s get the movie club started! =)
