The Little Prince inspires
Yesterday, a new friend SMSed me telling me that she just read ‘The Little Prince’ and that she’s so impressed by the brilliance of the book that she is going to write an essay about it (which I really look forward to reading!) She told me that I was the inspiration for her to read the book, which was sweet of her. =) In fact she even wrote an blog entry about it!
I’m actually very surprised and happy that through my blog entries, friends and strangers have picked up books that I love and have enjoyed them just as much too; books like ‘The Confessions of Max Tivoli’, ‘The Year of Magical Thinking’ and ‘The Little Prince’. I hope to be able to share more of my favourite books with you, my readers, and hope you share the books that you love with me too! Who knows, this may start off a book list or book club sometime in the future! =P

I just read that book and learned good points from it. Now I’m about to start “The Alchemist” which I’ve heard is really good; so suggest you read it too if didn’t until now. 🙂
Yup, I read ‘The Alchemist’ many years ago and have re-read it many many times! Like ‘The Little Prince’, it’s such a simple read but beneath its simplicity lie a lot of precious gems of life and truth…enjoy reading! =)
