Plucking blackberries

I refer to my previous post with reference to the following poem. (Haha, have been teaching so much on Business Communication that I start writing in that format now…)

Earth’s crammed with heaven

And every common bush afire with God;

But only he who sees takes off his shoes,

The rest sit around it and pluck blackberries.

I think that when she wrote this, Elizabeth had no idea she was predicting a future where possessing a Blackberry signaled somebody who is so caught up in work that he needs to be contactable 24/7. How did that device get the name Blackberry anyway?
