A name is born! – “Irwin’s Study”
I finally decided on a name for my new tuition place! For those in the know, this has been my ongoing quest for a while now: to find a suitable name (yes, thanks to all for enduring my random attempts to come up with a name for my place!) Didn’t want the usual names with ‘learning’ or ‘education’ or ‘tuition’ (too common and boring); didn’t want names with my academic background like ‘Raffles’ or ‘Oxford’ (a bit elitist hor? anyway, these 2 names are taken already! =).
So finally decided on something short and sweet, catchy and memorable – Irwin’ Study. Why “Study”? It’s a word that has many uses and connotations. It can be a noun (meaning a place, or body of knowledge and research) or a verb (meaning the act of applying yourself to acquiring knowledge).
